This was a great trip to Manhattan serving with William & Teresa. Our team worked great together and we accomplished everything William had planned for us to do. We pulled weeds all around the school campus. The guys cut, stained and put together the benches for the school campus. We pressured washed the 7 firetrucks and cleaned inside each one. We pressured washed the inside of the firehouse to prepare it for the pancake breakfast on Saturday. We helped set up and wash tables and chairs for the breakfast. We cracked a LOT of eggs for the breakfast. On Saturday for the breakfast, we waited on tables assisting the guests, filled many cups of coffee and orange juice, cleaned tables, cooked and served the food. It was all fun and enjoyable even though it was very hot. Each evening we had devotions from a team member. A very special time was our last devotion by Greg serving the Lords Supper in the outdoors with special made wooden cups made by Greg. We help prepare for the Potato Fest Parade by decorating, walking the parade and handing out water bottles and candy. It was a blessing to serve on this trip along with the other team members. Thanks to Greg for his leadership and driving us around safely. Thanks to our prayer partners for the daily prayers. We hope we planted seeds for Keystone Church as they are well thought of in the community of Manhattan.
