You must have a passport that is valid for 6 months after your entry date.
You must have a valid tourist e-visa. 
Submission of an application is your commitment to go. If we purchase a plane ticket for you and you are unable to go, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the ticket and any other non-refundable costs.
Please be aware that most mission projects require a great deal of walking and physical exertion – far more than many Americans are used to on a daily basis. 


To make the application process quicker, please have the following items easily accessible: passport/driver's license, current medical information, contact info for references/emergency contacts.
 

About This Opportunity

The Orbit Village Project was formed in 1995 by FBC member Cyndy Waters when she realized the call and vision of the Lord to establish a ministry just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. Through the years, this ministry has grown to include a school, orphanage, three church plants, and much more. The Orbit School of the Cross offers classes to students from baby class through 8th grade. Students are then sponsored to attend various high schools around Nairobi. Orbit Child Refuge houses and cares for over 90 orphaned children. "The Well" Dorm is the home for the girls and Joshua House is the home for the boys. Orbit Baptist Church was the first church planted on the property of the Orbit Village. Later, Orbit Baptist Mathare was planted to minister to the people of the Mathare Valley slum. The third church, Orbit Baptist Naiborkeju, was planted 7 hours north of Nairobi in Naiborkeju to minister to the Samburu people.

This will be a dual team with part of the team serving through construction and the other part serving through VBSMC and other student ministry.
