Our team of four was small but mighty this year. Our might, of course, didn't originate in us. It was Almighty God working through us. By the end of the week, we saw close to 50 children profess faith in Jesus Christ. On Sunday, we baptized 42 children and adults from Orbit and Mathare.
Throughout the week, we worked with hundreds of children from preschoolers to high school seniors. We taught them worship songs with motions. We taught them to take the gospel to others (If not you, who?). We led them to get creative with STEM projects. And we just spent time with them playing games and answering questions.
In the end, the gospel impact was amazing. Our mission partners were encouraged and equipped. Kids came to know Jesus. Kids got biblical clarity on questions about baptism and many other doctrinal matters.
Please keep praying for our mission partner Cyndy Waters as she continues to lead the staff at Orbit Village Project and to work with the churches at Mathare Valley and Naiborkeju. Pray for wisdom, provision, and a movement of God.
